Sample deliverables of the sponsorship project

Design Concepts Submission | Students should submit their design concepts, which will be evaluated using the same criteria as other submissions. The final deliverables will include:

Recorded Interview | A 10-minute recorded interview with the lead teacher and at least three students upon project completion. This aims to highlight the students' work, the integration of Gravity Sketch, and the collaboration between the sponsor and your university. |

Documentation guide: Capturing and promoting your project
Video & Audio Recording Standards
Interviews
Recording on a camera is preferred, but recording on a smartphone is also accepted. If recording using a camera:
- Orientation: Landscape is preferred
- Resolution: 4K at 24 fps preferred (1080p at 24 fps minimum).
- Framing: Chest-up framing with the interviewee looking directly at the camera.
- Lighting: Use natural light where possible, ensuring the speaker is well-lit.
- Audio:
- Use a Lavalier (LAV) mic, clip-on mic, or similar (e.g., RodeGo, Sony ICD Recorder).
- Record audio directly to the camera or an internal memory card.
- Introduction: Begin each interview by having the interviewee state their name and job title/role.
B-roll Footage
Recording on a camera is preferred, but recording on a smartphone is also accepted. If recording using a camera:
- Orientation: Landscape is preferred
- Resolution: 4K at 60 fps preferred (1080p at 60 fps minimum).
- Shot Variety: Capture a mix of wide, medium, and tight shots for flexibility during editing.
- Content Suggestions:
- People use headsets for design work or reviews.
- Collaborative moments between students, instructors, and guests.
- Over-the-shoulder shots showing screens with design work displayed.
- Audio: Capture natural ambient audio on the camera.

- Keep the Subject Clear: Ensure the main focus of the image or video is easy to interpret, with no distracting elements.
- Highlight Authentic Moments: Showcase real interactions, creativity, and collaboration to connect with your audience.
- Tailor for the Platform: Adjust aspect ratios, formats, and content style to align with each platform’s guidelines and audience preferences.
