# Updates to Collab Rooms (Removal of "New Sketch" from the Home Page)
## Community members can now create unlimited Collab Rooms!
You can start working faster, share your progress instantly, and invite collaborators whenever you like.
***Enterprise plans are unaffected, and all existing access controls and permissions remain unchanged.***

- Solo or offline work is still easy using sketch files.
- Participant limits per room remain unchanged.
- Organisation permissions and policies are unchanged.
#### Why we made this change
This update is part of a new initiative, which aims to make it as easy as possible to start a collaboration-ready room as it is to start a solo sketch. Our goal is to reduce friction, and provide a clear path for users who prefer working with sketch files for specific tasks.
- You are not forced to collaborate. Sketch files are still fully supported.
- Exporting .GRS files are always available for your workflow.
#### What has changed
- **Unlimited rooms for community members**: Free, Pro, and Early Adopter users can now create as many Collab Rooms as they need.
- **Enterprise plans**: No changes - governance, permissions, and participant limits remain as configured by your admins.
- **Participant caps**: The number of people who can join a room at once remains the same.
#### How to create rooms
- **Create a collab room in VR:** Lobby → LandingPad Collab → New Room
- **Create a new sketch in VR:** Lobby → File Browser → New → Sketch
- **Create on web:** landingpad.me → My Files → + → New Collab Room or New Sketch

#### How to Share rooms
Invite collaborators as usual using standard invites. For workspaces with codes or public rooms enabled, the same rules apply — a code alone does not grant access. Permissions and organisational policies continue to govern access.

#### FAQ
### Does this force me to collaborate?
No. Sketch files and .GRS exports remain fully supported. Collaboration is optional, not mandatory.
### Are there any limits now?
Community members can create unlimited rooms. Participant limits per room and any enterprise plan rules remain unchanged.
### How is work saved?
Collab Rooms automatically save your progress. You can still export a room or create a sketch file backup whenever needed.
### Where can I share feedback?
Reach us via the Help Center, email, Discord, or other community channels. We monitor feedback closely to inform future updates.
