Create Collab Room

To create a new Collab room you'll need to go to Gravity Sketch VR or landingpad.me

Create a room in VR

LandingPad Collab (free)

1. In the Lobby select LandingPad Collab

2. Select Create a blank new room (plus icon in the top right corner)

3. Your room will be created and will appear in the LandingPad Collab panel

By default, the room name will include your name (as the example shows: Demo’s and Elma’s Collab). Your room will always be highlighted and will have a crown icon attached to it. Rooms that you’ve been invited to will appear next to your room.

Collab for Business

Organization administrators can create multiple rooms within the organization:

1. In the Lobby select LandingPad Collab

2. Select Create a blank new room (plus icon in the top right corner)

3. Name the room

4. Your room will be created and will appear in the LandingPad Collab panel

LandingPad Collab (free)

To create a room in the browser, first go to landingpad.me and log in to your account, then follow the steps below:

1. Select My Files
2. Click the + button on the top right
3. Select the New Collab Room option

Your room will be created and will appear in the Files and Rooms section on LandingPad as well as in VR.

Collab for Business

Rooms can be created either in shared org spaces or separately in different teams. Organisation and teams administrators can create multiple rooms:

First, log into your account on landingpad.me,then follow the steps below: 

1. Select organisation space
2. Select the + button in the top right
3. Select the New Collab Room option

    4. Finally, name the room and select Create.

 

Team Collab Rooms

A similar process applies when creating Collab rooms in Teams. The only difference is you'll need to select Teams instead of shared organisation space (1. step). In our case this would be Team A, then 2. Click the + button and 3. New Collab Room. 

Rooms in shared organisation space will be accessible to all members of the organization. If any of the rooms are locked, members of the org will need the password to access them. Only the org or team admins (if the room is part of a specific team) can set the password and lock the rooms.
