Gravity Sketch supports both NURBS Spline data and Mesh polygon data. Check below how Gravity Sketch geometry will be exported in different file formats. For more information on exporting check Export Best Practices.
Gravity Sketch
Exporting as a GRS file allows you to take 3D data and models from one Gravity Sketch room to another. This means you can export your geometry as an asset and then import it into a Collab room or another sketch.
There are no advanced options for exporting the GRS file, so any visible layers will be exported and saved as a GRS file as they appear.
Normals
This setting is available when exporting OBJ and FBX. To learn more about exporting different Mesh settings, visit Export Best Practices.
OBJ, FBX (Mesh)
FBX (Nurbs)
IGES
IGES doesn’t contain Mesh data: Volume, Primitives, and OBJ models in the sketch won’t be exported to IGES. IGES exported from Gravity Sketch also keeps original reference curve data such as Revolve axis.
