Move Objects

You can move any object in the sketch or room using the controllers. Learn how to do that by following the steps in this article. 

To Move objects in Gravity Sketch:

1. Intersect the Grab Sphere on your drawing hand with the object/objects you would like to move

2. Press and hold the hand/grab trigger on your drawing hand to grab the object

3. While holding the hand/grab trigger, move your hand/controller, and you will be moving objects in space

4. Let go of the hand/grab trigger to place objects in space

You can also Move objects with precision, you can use the selection tool instead: 

1. Press the thumb-stick on the dominant controller and move the controller to the left to Selection.

2. Move the cursor to the object and use the trigger to add and remove objects from the selection. Selected objects will be highlighted in orange.

3. Hover your dominant controller on the gumball to rotate, resize and reposition the selection. 

The above method allows you to move objects freely in space and place objects anywhere you want to. If you would prefer to move objects along a specific axis you will need to use Smart Move.
