Use this tool to add an additional set of control points to your geometry.

Access and Use

Loop Addition is selected as a default tool when in Edit mode.

  1. Open the SubD editing tools
  1. Intersect the circle on the top of your drawing hand controller with the SubD object and pull the front trigger
  1. A set of points will be added across the geometry

When using other SubD tools you can switch back to the Loop Addition tool by opening the SubD menu again and selecting Loop Addition (circle in the middle).

Loops can also be inserted on paths that finish at triangles and ngons and will not cut across the shape.
