QR codes for Spatial Alignment
You can use QR codes as anchors for Spatial Alignment in the Gravity Sketch app on Meta Quest.
Use Spatial Alignment to lock your Virtual Room to your Physical Space in passthrough.
Create an Alignment from the “Spatial Alignment” tab in the “Environment” menu, using either your Meta headset (expires after 30 days) or a QR code. Alignments are shared and available to anyone in the same Room and Space.
Spatial Alignment with QR codes is currently supported on Meta Quest 3 and 3S only.

FAQs
What QR code format, size, and content is supported?
Any standard QR code is supported, up to and including version 10.
Micro QR codes, alternative code formats (such as AprilTags), and QR codes with customised designs (such as logos or non-standard styles) are not supported.
QR codes should be relatively large (150mm x 150mm recommended) and positioned close to the device in a well-lit environment.
QR codes can contain any content, but a short number or text string is recommended. To keep an alignment consistent, QR codes must remain in the same position in your physical space.
How many QR codes can be used?
Each Spatial Alignment can use 1 unique QR code, which acts as an anchor to lock and position virtual content in your physical space.
A Room can contain multiple Spatial Alignments, but each Alignment can only use 1 QR code.
How can I find QR codes to use?
You can find a PDF containing QR codes to use for Spatial Alignment here:
Download “Gravity Sketch - Spatial Alignment QR codes.pdf”
You can alternatively use your own QR codes.
Can I scan a QR code to open a Room?
No, you must open a Room in Gravity Sketch first. Once the Room has loaded, enable passthrough and look around to detect QR codes.
