SubD (Subdivision) Surfacing

Introduction

When it comes to SubD surfaces you can Create SubD surfaces from scratch or turn regular surfaces into SubD surfaces.

Create SubD surfaces

1. Select the Creation Menu (purple button)

2. Select Surface from the Tools menu

4. Move the toggle button to the Subdivision surface option
5. Create a surface by squeezing the Index triggers on both controllers and moving them in space

Turn regular surfaces into SubD

1. Create a surface or grab an existing surface and put it into Edit mode.
2. Select the box icon in the edit menu.
3. The entire surface is now turned into SubD.
